Fair Haven Borough Council Meets Tonight

It's what's going on in the Rumson-Fair Haven area on Tuesday.

Happy Tuesday, friends and fans!

There were some beautiful Veterans Day ceremony moments. Take a look at our photo galleries and video. And don't forget to thank a vet.

And RFH has done it again — with AP testing, this time.

Around the towns today …

• There's a Borough Council meeting in Fair Haven Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall on River Road. Click here for the agenda.

• Novelist Lynn Clay Byrne is at River Road Books on tonight.

• There's a Wind in the Willows story time at the Oceanic Library in Rumson on Tuesday and a reading at Fair Haven Library with a LEGO game.

Weather, tides, sun and moon tidbits ...

• Looks like it's going to rain today, according to the National Weather Service. It may even snow, with high temperatures of 44 degrees.

• And here's your sun, moon and tide information from www.tides4fishing.com:

"The sun will rise in Sea Bright at 6:40 a.m. and sunset will be at 4:41 p.m. Today we begin the day with the moon already visible in the sky, so first we will see the moonset, which will take place at 1:25 a.m. at 268º west. Eventually, the moon will rise again in the east (89º) at 1:55 p.m.

"In the high tide and low tide chart, we can see that the first high tide will be at 4:14 am and the next high tide at 4:34 pm. The first low tide will be at 10:38 am and the next low tide at 10:59 p.m.

"The lunar phase is a Waxing Gibbous. Today we will have 10 hours and 1 minutes of sun. The solar transit will be at 11:40 am and the length of time the moon will be visible will be 11 hours and 30 minutes."

Whatever else comes up, we'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I'll see you around the towns.
