A couple of months ago we said that May was a weak month for Rumson real estate (http://rumsonfairhavenhome.wordpress.com/2013/06/10/may-was-a-weak-month...). That’s not going to be the case with July. The month’s not over yet, but home sales in Rumson are MUCH stronger than they were last July. Only 9 homes sold in July last year, but 15 have sold so far this month.
In addition, the median home price increased from $935,000 last July to $1,570,000 so far this July.
Finally, for the homes that sold, the average number of cumulative days on the market (CDOM) decreased from 137 days to 85 days.
