Joe,Giving out his Web site is a waste of time. I have spoken to his aides, never get a response back. Called his office a dozen or more times no answers. I voted for him but never again, he only cares about himself. As one commenter said vote him out and send a message to the rest of the country that if this Gov can be voted out for not doing the right thing so can they. George from stop fema now if you are reading this please stop thanking the politicians from comming to these meetings you have (it is their job) they should be thanking the people and George don't you realize why alot more people don't come out to these meetings. It is because they have there names on these lists for Grants and do not want to jeapodize not geting the money. They are scared of the politicians who could be ruthless.

Replythe Gov has lost my vote and the family vote. Remember the shore counties put him in office. I can see why the teachers want him out , he talks alot and does nothing. I went to one of his town meetings, for you who never went they start it off like a broadway show while his aides usher in all the local politicians and friends of the politicians for a photo session. he tells every one that his oiffice will answer all questions from the public, I have called a dozen times no answers and his people on the phone have no comment . If you ask where is his next town hall meeting they say they have no idea. He might as well replace these people with answering machines.

ReplyLast week I sold my house on the water in Bayville. Over the last 4 years I would say to my wife is it me or does the water in the lagoons at this time of the year seem higher then in the past and she said I noticed the same thing. I spoke to my neigbors and they said the same thing. We had been trying to sell for the last 18 months and move out of this state. I dealt with all the same thing you all are at these meetings went to a dozen and no concrete answers. Sandy was not the bad guy , the Government is. During my closing my lawyer said he is very busy with house sales in LBI because so many people walking away from their homes and selling to people with cash. He said they do not care about Flood insurance because they will have no mortgage. It has already started the have,s will buy out the have nots. The townships someday will get the tax base back but it will take some time.Good luck to all of you and be safe.

ReplyThe only time Sam Cammarato gets involved is when it fits his personal needs. Where was he the entire winter in Fla. enjoying himself . Now he is back and is sucking up to the politicians to get money for his house and he is good at it. When his tax got raised he never missed a meeting until he got his tax lowered. Last year he told people in 2013 the BTTC will have another work shop to help people ,but he was nowhere to be found he got his tax reduced by a lawyer from Toms River who had come to a work shop for people on the water to get Re-assements and helped the attorney make plenty of money. I am sure he wasn't charged for his re-assesment. Now he only cares about the Sandy storm because he wants money.
He says he has all these friends in Washington another BS story to empress the local politicians. He should change the name of the BTTC to the Berkeley Township Sandy committee so he can get the money he is looking for. What is his Tax Committee doing about Taxes NOTHING ! He is only in for himself and he sucks in good people around him ,what a scam artist. -
On the article Berkeley Township School District Budget Calls For Slight Increase This Year

ReplyIsn't it funny how all the people who want to get into government start in the board of ED . This is the training grounds for there future endeavors in the run for mayor or council. Not one council member or the mayor questioned the increase or at least ask why they couldn't find a way to save monies. I forget all the time, it is easy to spend other peoples money. They must recieve raises and pay the 1.5% for health care ,what a joke.

It would be niece for this area to have new commercial stores , but just wait these guys have the reputation of doing what they want which means hundreds of homes and condos = high taxes for everyone. The worst is yet to come! The township fathers better do there home work regarding these contractors for the good of Berkeley. I know the people on the planning board to not have the expertise to deal with this issue unless The Mayor appoints some knowledgeable people not people who fall asleep
