Ellie Halfacre, Neighbor

Ellie Halfacre, 16, is a junior at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School.  A lifelong resident of Fair Haven, Ellie has always had a passion for journalism,  starting the "The Wacky Weekly" classroom newsletter in 5th grade and then writing for the Knollwood Voice at her middle school.

This continued once high school began, when she joined the Tower Review, the school's online newspaper.  Interested in both local and online reporting, Patch.com has given her an amazing opportunity to further her experiences in journalism.  

Also interested in law and acting, Ellie is involved in Key Club, Social Justice Club, Mock Trial, Gay-Straight Alliance, Peer Leaders and the school drama club Tower Players at RFH.  

Ellie loves going to the movies and hanging out with her friends in her free time.
