Man Convicted of Attempted Murder in Diner Shooting
He was found guilty of shooting his ex-girlfriend outside of the Route 35 diner where she worked.
A Union County man was found guilty of attempted murder, weapons offenses and drug possession after a jury delivered its verdict Wednesday following a three-week trial based on an incident outside a local diner in 2011, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said in a release. Jermaine Foster, 35, of Plainfield, was convicted of first degree attempted murder, second degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, second degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance after a jury delivered the verdict following a three-week trial presided over by Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Francis J.
