Since being approved for Fair Haven’s first shot at a sidewalk café permit, tables and umbrellas are set up outside on, you could say, the side … walk of the eatery. They’re actually on the side in the alleyway of the popular stop for homemade Italian breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Safety of the placement of the of the outdoor tables was called into question at the most recent Borough Council meeting Monday night but fears were quickly allayed by Police Chief Darryl Breckenridge.
