Fire Breaks Out in Nearby Business
Multiple Tinton Falls fire crews responded to the scene.
Update: 8:35 p.m.: According to Fire Chief Dan Chmarenko, there was one person inside of the building at the start of the blaze who was able to exit with no problem. The fire originated in an exterior cooling tower, not on the roof as originally reported. Crews from Northside Engine Co and Tinton Falls Fire Company Number 1 responded. A fire that broke out in the roof off an unoccupied Tinton Falls office building was successfully knocked down before it could spread to the rest of the building, fire officials said Friday night.
