Teen Struck By Train in Red Bank Stole Laptop From Rook First, Police Say
The Feb. 10 theft in Little Silver was captured on the train station's surveillance camera.
The teen who was injured early Sunday morning at the Red Bank Train Station has been charged with stealing a laptop one stop earlier in Little Silver, according to police. Oluwatomiwa Adewusi, 19, Avenel, was charged with burglary and theft after he was observed on surveillance video stealing the laptop along with a drink and chips from Rook Coffee Roasters inside the Little Silver Train Station. The footage showed that the suspect entered followed a delivery person into the building and then boarded the northbound NJ Transit train to Red Bank following the theft.
