Delepine died in a car accident on Route 35 in Hazlet on Christmas Eve morning.
Taylor Ruane Patrick Delepine, 19, of Middletown, died Monday morning following a car accident on Route 35. Delepine was traveling on Route 35 North, when, at 7:58 a.m. near Poole Avenue, the 2003 Honda Accord he was driving struck the center median and then slid across the roadway where it struck a utility pole, breaking the pole into several sections, according to Hazlet Police. He was transported to Bayshore Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:45 a.m. "This accident is still under investigation, but based on preliminary investigation, excessive speed does not appear to be a contributing factor," said Chief James Broderick.
