Two River Area Highlighted in Upcoming "Share the Shore" Event
The American Littoral Society, with the help of a slew of participants, is hosting events all along New Jersey's coast this Saturday, August 20th.
The American Littoral Society is celebrating its 50th anniversary by inviting anyone and everyone from Montauk to the Delaware Bay to participate in its Share the Shore event this Saturday. According to a release from the organization, shore lovers, beach walks, surfers, fishermen, divers, and others will join together to show the world how and why they love the shore, and to promote efforts that protect the ocean and our valuable coastlines. Share the Shore is the theme for dozens of smaller events that have been participant-created and planned.
