Man Indicted on FH Burglary Charges
Rufus Monroe faces charges on two third-degree crimes committed in Fair Haven.
An area man with an extensive criminal record, consisting of credit card fraud, drug possession and possession of stolen property convictions, has been indicted on charges stemming from an August burglary and credit card fraud case in Fair Haven. Rufus Monroe, 66, of 92 Peach St., Tinton Falls, allegedly committed the crime of burglary when on Aug. 28 he entered a vehicle not belonging to him that was parked in a Poplar Avenue driveway and stole credit cards from it, the indictment, signed by Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccione, said.
