Rumson-Fair Haven Girls Cross Country Now Qualifies for Meet of Champions
The team finished third in Group 2 Championships Saturday
The Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Girls Cross Country (XC) is now qualified for the Meet of Champions. The team finished in third place in the Group 2 Championships on Saturday, behind Voorhees and Bernards, gaining the eligibility. In what was the fifth fastest time in R-FH history, junior Jacqueline Gottuso led the team on the 5,000 meter course with a time of 19:40. Also scoring for the team was sophomore, Fini Satzke (20:24), junior, Megan Hellman (20:26), freshman, Emily Hellman (20:32) and junior, Courtney Howley (21:08). Rounding out the team were seniors Isabella Maita and Caleigh Farragher.
