Rumsonite does up front yard as ode to famed artwork
Yes, you could call it a real scream. It's the display in honor of artist Edvard Much's "The Scream." People have donned many a "Scream" mask for Halloween over the years. And, copycat versions have adorned pillows and all sorts of novelty items. But, Jackie Ward's display on East River Road in Rumson just may be a first for the area, at least. Ward sent Patch the photos of the scene to share and says her decorations are just "a few ghoulish faces made simply with pantyhose, wire hangers and a Sharpie." Take a look and enjoy. There's only a week left until Halloween and more and more creatures of the night are being sighted around town in Rumson and Fair Haven. This time we're on a witch hunt. Patch has scared up some sisters of the cauldron, aptly costumed and ready to cast some seasonal spells, stir the pot of witches brew or take flight (sort of). Check out the photo gallery of the witches we've conjured up around the towns, add photos of your own finds and be sure to check back for more that we've added during the day. Halloween is creeping up slowly, but some Rumson and Fair Havenites have started spooking neighbors with their own front-yard fright fests. Patch has been on the prowl to scare up some haunts around town as the season starts brewing. We got some photos of Halloween decoration treats on Friday night and are adding them as we find them. Some are prepping for Halloween early in Rumson and Fair Haven
With the moon nearly full and shrouded in creepy-shaped clouds, fall is in the air in the Rumson-Fair Haven area and some are in the Halloween spirit already. Patch happened to catch a couple of early Halloween decorations that set an early pace for a haunting season in the area. Have you decorated for Halloween yet?
