Falling into a Pile of Fall Events Saturday

Saturday is flush with events in the Rumson-Fair Haven area

Green with an Environmental FALLFEST

The festival at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School is in its second year.

Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School is going green again with a fall festival — FALLFEST. The Environmental Club at the high school will host its second annual FALLFEST on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Held on the high school's front football field, the event will feature vendors offering fresh organic products as well as crafts, jewelry, smoothies, ice cream, honey, and more. Many local environmental organizations will be on hand to spread awareness about  pressing global issues and to gain involvement and support. A number of Rumson-Fair Haven student organizations will participate as well by providing information and offering face painting for children. Rumson PTO Fall Festival Today

The event is a first for Rumson schools

The first day of fall may be tomorrow, Sept. 22, but the Rumson PTO is getting a jump start on the season with its first fall festival today. The first-time event, the proceeds of which will benefit the Rumson schools, will host an array of games, food and music on the grounds of the Deane-Porter School's playground from 4:30 to 7 p.m. According to the PTO's Carolyn Cashion, there will be three large bounce houses, cotton candy, snow cones, prizes for the games and a DJ "generously sponsoredby the KDM Foundation," which also assisted in funding the playground on which the event will take place. The KDM Foundation was formed in honor of Rumson and Fair Haven native Keith McHeffey, who was killed in the terrorist attacks on the NY World …

Local Farms Come to RFH for Fall Festival

Enjoy the best of what Fall has to offer at the RFH inaugural Fall Festival.

Students at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) are bringing the best of Fall from local farms right to their football field for residents to enjoy. The RFH Environmental Club will be hosting a Fall Festival on October 8, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The event is intended to raise awareness in the community about conservation, sustainability and to support our local organic farms and conservation organizations.
