UPDATE: Former Local Mayor's Court Date Set on DWI Charge

McKenna faces the DWI and two related charges

Former Red Bank Mayor Ed McKenna will appear in Tinton Falls Municipal Court on June 11 to answer to the driving while intoxicated and related charges lodged against him following a single-car collision on the Garden State Parkway, officials at Tinton Falls court said Thursday afternoon. "The incident occurred on Garden State Parkway north around milemarker 108 on May 13 (Monday) at 9:50 p.m.," NJ State Police Spokesman Brian Polite said. Fair Haven Police Report: Burglaries, Auto Theft, Hit-and-Run and DWI

The following information was obtained directly from Fair Haven Police Department records. It does not indicate convictions.

Fair Haven police reported the following incidents and arrests in March: • Sgt. Sherri Lambert and Patrolman Koetzner arrested two juveniles on March 9 who were allegedly found to be intoxicated, one of whom was also trespassing at a Harvard Road residence. •  Patrolmen Patton and Hostrup took a report of an alleged burglary that occurred on March 10 at a Schwenker’s Place residence.  Detective Stephen Schneider also responded and is continuing the investigation. It has been determined that nothing has been taken at this time. The following Sea Bright and Fair Haven residents were arrested in Little Silver on marijuana possession and underage DWI charges: • Edward McNally, 27, of Sea Bright, NJ, was arrested on March 16 following a motor vehicle stop on Rumson Road, Little Silver, and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and active contempt of court warrants out of the Union Beach and Sea Bright Municipal Courts. January a slow month, police say. Many ongoing investigations, few arrests from motor vehicle stops.

January was a slow month, as far as motor vehicle stops resulting in arrests go, Fair Haven Police Detective Stephen Schneider said. "For the most part, people were on their best behavior last month," Schneider said. "We have a lot of ongoing investigtions at this time, but January was a lower crime month here, as far as arrest reports go." Aside from routine speeding tickets and minor incidents, there was one motor vehicle stop, after an accident, that resulted in an arrest. According to police records, on Jan. 15, Cpl. Rumson, Fair Haven Men Arrested on DWI, Weapons, Disorderly Charges

In Little Silver: • Louis Haynes, 24, of Fair Haven, was arrested on Jan. 13 following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue, Little Silver, and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon. Officer Amanda Arnold made the arrest. • John Anderson, 47, of Rumson, was arrested on Jan. 17 following a motor vehicle stop on Church Street, Little Silver, and charged with for driving while intoxicated. Rumson Woman Arrested After RB Stop

The following information was obtained directly from Red Bank Police Department records. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Rumson woman was arrested recently by Red Bank police after a motor vehicle stop in Red Bank, according to police records. Elizabeth Hunter, 24, of Rumson, was arrested on Dec. 10 in the area of Maple Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, under 50 grams of marijuana (a disorderly persons offense) and driving while intoxicated. She was released pending a court date. Patromen Stan Balmer and Ashon Lovick made the arrest.

Fair Haven police reported the following incidents and arrests from the second half of November: • Patrolman Christian Hostrup on Nov. 17 arrested Allison E. Mcknight, 42, of Freehold, and charged her with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop.  Sgt. Sherri Lambert assisted in the arrest. McKnight was released pending a court appearance. • Patrolmen Eric Patton and Christian Hostrup on Nov. 22 took a report of vandalism, which was allegedly committed on a vehicle parked at a Forest Avenue address. • Sgt.
