The victim reported that former tenants allegedly stole garden stone benches, a fountain, a lawn edger, a front door and a ladder when moving out. In Little Silver: • Louis Haynes, 24, of Fair Haven, was arrested on Jan. 13 following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue, Little Silver, and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon. Officer Amanda Arnold made the arrest. • John Anderson, 47, of Rumson, was arrested on Jan. 17 following a motor vehicle stop on Church Street, Little Silver, and charged with for driving while intoxicated. Red Bank man to answer charges today

An area man will appear in court this morning to answer charges of assault and criminal mischief. Myron D. Dismuke, 42, of Red Bank, was arrested New Year's Day after police said he damaged a Montgomery Terrace woman's truck and choked her. Police said Dismuke threw bicycles at the woman's Dodge Durango, causing more than $2,000 in damage. He broke the windshield and caused dents to the hood and front end, according to court documents. Police said they also found red marks on the victim's neck after he choked her. Dismuke was held on $15,000 bail, no 10 percent option. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. today.
