Man Charged with County Courthouse Bomb Threat
Bomb threat took place on Oct. 25 and caused courthouse to be evacuated.
The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged a man in connection with the Oct. 25 bomb threat against the Monmouth County Courthouse. Ellis W. Goodson, 35, allegedly made a 9-1-1 call on Thursday, Oct. 25 and warned that a bombing would take place at the courthouse that day. In a previous story, Patch had reported that a bomb threat against the courthouse came from a 9-1-1 call at about 12 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25. At that time, the courthouse was evacuated and area K-9 explosives-detecting dogs were brought in to sweep the building.
