Blue Stove Antiques Burglarized Again
The Fair Haven shop was the spot of a June armed robbery and other burglaries
Fair Haven's Blue Stove Antiques has been hit by burglars again. And police are keeping a close eye on the place, as it has been targeted several times before. Most recently, the River Road shop was burglarized on Jan. 15 and, according to police, roughly $10,000 worth of watches were stolen. Before that, in June, there was an armed robbery at the store, during which the owner was accosted and held at gunpoint by a disguised Robert Fiolka, of Staten Island, NY, while merchandise was stolen. Dating back, the store has been burglarized several times before as well, Fair Haven Police Detective Stephen Schneider said.
