It's what's going on this weekend in the Rumson-Fair Haven area.


Looks like the weekend weather outlook is a bit gloomy. So, it's a good thing that there's a lot going on indoors, such as theater and some cheesy, good stuff. Yes, cheesy.

Friday …


• October is American Cheese Month, and there's no better or inexpensively tasteful way to celebrate an early Friday evening than with $5 Fridays at Cheese Cave on Monmouth Street in Red Bank.

Every Friday the Cave features six different cheeses as well as breads, nuts and spreads to demonstrate proper flavor and textural pairings.

On Borrowed Time, directed by Joel Grey, continues its run at Two River Theater and closes on Sunday. Curtain is 8 p.m. Friday night.  Click here for more information.

• Stone Church Players' production of Our Town opens at 8 p.m. at the historic All Saints Memorial Church in Navesink. Click here for more information.

Walking Lantern Ghost Tours continues its Friday night run in Red Bank. Those who would like to participate area asked to meet at Dublin House on Monmouth Street at 8 p.m. for an 8:30 start.

Saturday …

Our Town is at All Saints Memorial Church in Navesink again. Curtain is 8 p.m.

On Borrowed Time's curtain at Two River Theater in Red Bank has two showtimes — 3 and 8 p.m.

Sunday …

Red Bank Farmers Market in the Galleria parking lot from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• There are also a matinees of On Borrowed Time and Our Town at 3 p.m. It's your last chance to see On Borrowed Time.
