Monmouth Park will host its annual Shore Chef Crab Cake Cook-Off on Aug. 17 and Aug. 18 from 12 to 5 p.m.
Local chefs will compete for the best crab cake award and the People's Choice Award as guests will get to cast their vote for their favorite chef.
Even if crab cakes aren't your favorite, there will still be fried catfish, clam chowder bread bowls, lobster rolls, empanadas and other food available.

This year's participating eateries are: Bahr's, Station 1 Seafood, Bacon on Wheels, Ben's BBQ & Catering, Green Light/Dellano, Jonathan's Harbor, Empanada Guy, My Two Sons, Ike's Crab Cakes, Four Boys Ice Cream, J&C Chip Stix, Freezy Freeze, and Kona Ice.
