Bill Cosby at Basie, Art Alliance Opening
Cosby at Basie on Friday; Art opening on Saturday
The weekend weather is expected to be clear with temperatures hitting a high in the mid-50s.
So, here are a few local events to consider for your entertainment:
• On Friday, Bill Cosby will be coming to the Count Basie Theatre. Click here for more information.
• On Saturday, the Art Alliance of Monmouth County will host the opening reception of the juried exhibition of cartoonist and children's book illustrator and author Mark Alan Stamaty's work.
The reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alliance's gallery, 33 Monmouth St., Red Bank.
Samaty, whose work has been featured in Time Magazine, the New York Times and other prestigious publications,will continue show his work at the gallery Tuesdays through Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. through Nov. 30.
This will be the Art Alliance's 27th Annual Juried Exhibition.
• On Sunday, the Red Bank Farmers Market will, as usual, be held in the Galleria parking lot from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
