Meetings, Tides, RFH Rowing Enrollment

Here we are again. It's the beginning of yet another week, Rumson-Fair Haven area friends and fans.

Well, the weather troll is saying it's going to be partly sunny today with high temperatures near 80 degrees. And, save for a chance of showers on Tuesday, it looks like we'll have pretty nice weather for the week.

Here's the tide table for Sea Bright for today into tomorrow:

2013-08-12  7:01 AM EDT   0.17 feet  Low Tide
2013-08-12  1:32 PM EDT   3.46 feet  High Tide
2013-08-12  7:37 PM EDT   0.43 feet  Low Tide
2013-08-12  7:57 PM EDT   Sunset
2013-08-13  1:40 AM EDT   3.16 feet  High Tide
2013-08-13  6:05 AM EDT   Sunrise

So,the Class of '78 has survived its high school reunion. Check out the pics, if you haven't already. What a hammy crew! It's a good thing there was no bridge left to paint, because I have a feeling a few dozen old folks (yes, I'm one of them) would have had to have their kids pick them up at the police station — tables turned a bit from the old days.

We'll be featuring a fun video of the night with the RFH alumni talking about favorite teachers. Stay tuned.

Well, if you missed anything last week, check our weekly wrap by clicking here.

And, this week, well, we have many meetings. Fair Haven Borough Council is meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at borough hall. Rumson is meeting Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. and the Sea Bright Planning & Zoning Board meets at the same time on the same night as Rumson.

The RFH Rowing High School Team is holding its open registration now. For more details, see the announcement posted by Rumson Rec right here.

Also, the Monmouth Conservatory of Music is holding open enrollment for the fall semester. Check out the announcement.

If we've missed anything, let us know by adding it in the comments section below.

And if you were in the Class of '78 and don't recognize your classmates, all I can say is … ahem, well, your recognition amnesia is the same as theirs about their age. So, come on, get the readers out and get over your bad selves. I think everyone looked pretty stinkin' good and, yes, recognizable at pretty darn close to 100 percent.

So, caption the featured photo, would ya?

We'll be out and about this week doing some mobile app posts, so watch out! See ya around the towns …
