Meetings & Fundraisers in the Week Ahead

Happy Monday, friends and fans!

Looks like the weather is warming up a bit and we're losing some of that snow from last week.

Just in time to get around to this week's events and meetings.

Around the towns this week …

• Fair Haven Borough Council is meeting tonight in the usual place at the usual time — Borough Hall on River Road at 7 p.m. Click here for the agenda.

• Rumson Borough Council is meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Borough Hall on East River Road. Click here for the agenda.

• There's a Fair Haven Historic Preservation Commission meeting at 7:15 p.m. at Borough Hall on Tuesday night.

• The Rumson Board of Education meets on Wednesday night in the library at Forrestdale at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday night.

• This weekend there are two fundraisers:

* Knollwood School eighth grade students and parents are hosting their annual Chili Dinner and Fair Haven's Best Salsa Contest from 4 to 7 p.m. at Knights of Columbus. Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for kids. And you can order take-out for the Superbowl;

* And the ReGala fundraiser for the new RFH Rowing team is happening at Navoo Grill Club on Saturday night. More on that to come.
