Gearing Up for Rumson St. Paddy's Day Parade, Business News in Week Ahead

This week is a no meeting week in the Rumson-Fair Haven area, but we will keep you updated on some business news, features and more.

Around the towns this week …

• There's a free CPR program at Red Bank Library tonight. Register by calling 732.776.4470.

Pat Guadagno is performing at Jamian's on Monmouth Street in Red Bank tonight, as with every Monday.

• Tuesday is the day to read with Benny the dog at Oceanic Free Library in Rumson. He's a reading therapy dog. The program is for children 5 to 8 and begins at 3:30 p.m..

• Thursday night from 7 to 10 p.m. the second annual A Night of Hope to Feed the Soul fundraiser will be held at The Downtown on West Front Street in Red Bank. The event, at $75 a ticket, benefits several area charities: the Jon Bon Jovi (JBJ) Soul Kitchen, Monmouth County Boys and Girls Club and more. Call 732.747.8577 for more information.

• Rumson is gearing up for its second annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in March, so on Saturday, there will be a fundraiser, featuring music and some traditional irish sustenance at Murphy's. Click here for more information.
