The was built in 1934 and wasoriginally owned by New Jersey State Senator and Superior Court Judge Thomas Brown. The 12-acre property includes dozens of specimen holly trees, from which the estate derived its name, cultivated by Judge Brown.

“I feel a certain kinship with Judge Brown. He was well known to be a dedicated supporter of his community to the extent of hiring all local contractors to build Holly Hill during difficult economic times,” explained Bidgood. “Salt Creek Grille hires locally and we have done business with local purveyors since we opened our doors on our beautiful waterfront location in 1998. We are proud to have been selected to operate the Café at this year’s Designer Show House event.”
