RFH Students Dodge Balls to Raise Money for Charley's Fund

There was no mercy at the annual dodgeball tournament at RFH on June 7th, but all in a good cause.

Rumson Fair Haven High School’s annual dodgeball fundraiser was an opportunity for the Seckler Family to help support Charley’s Fund, named in honor of their cousin. Charley was diagnosed with Duchenne’s muscular dystrophy in 2004 at the age of three. Charley’s Fund raises money for medical research into the disease which progressively robs boys of the use of their muscles and usually limits them to a wheelchair by the age of 10 to 12. Boys have a lifespan of approximately 20 years.  There is no cure, but after many years of research the first-ever human clinical trials are about to begin.
