Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno, a Monmouth Beach resident, joined childhood cancer survivors, their parents and personnel from Monmouth Medical Center's Children's Hospital on Friday night in Sea Bright to be a part of the the Make Some Noise Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation crusade.
The foundation is dedicated to helping fund research and treatment for pediatric cancer; and, the Guadagno, among various other officials and volunteers at the event, advocates for the cause.
All gathered to light a tree filled with gold lights and ornaments in honor of the cause and hear and reflect on stories of survival.
