The annual "Runway for Recovery" will be held at the Lounge at the Blue Bay Inn on Tuesday, October 18 from 6:30-11:00 p.m.

Two local women started a fun, fashion fundraiser to for the fight against and six years later they are still rocking the runway for the cause.

On Tuesday, October 18, 2011, from 6:30 – 11:00, the annual “Runway for Recovery” will be held at the Lounge at the Blue Bay Inn, located in Atlantic Highlands. “Runway for Recovery” is a not for profit organization that raises money for the fight against breast cancer and cancer research.

This year’s event, a fashion show, hosted by Leslie Blum Hecht, and Ink Papery, will be a fun filled evening of fabulous fashion, silent and chance auctions with cocktails and light fare generously donated by the Copper Canyon. What makes the Runway for Recovery fashion show so unique, is that every beautiful “model” on the “catwalk” is a breast cancer survivor.
