Monmouth Beach: A Small Sandy Survivor

The beach will be open for Memorial Day

Monmouth Beach's small slice of beachfront took a hard hit from Hurricane Sandy, but the word is that the beach will be open by Memorial Day and ready for visitors.

Monmouth Beach's public beach has forever been nestled in a spot right on Ocean Avenue between the historic, prestigious and private Monmouth Beach Club and Long Branch's North End Beach, which is known as a surfer haven.

Season beach passes can be purchased for $75, daily admission is $9 and children, 12 and under, are admitted free. Season badges for senior citizens, 65 and older, are $25 and season parking permits are $40.
