It's On! FH's First Concert on the Dock

The show will go on at 7 p.m.

Despite some doubts due to Friday's rain, Fair Haven's first Concert on the Dock id a definite go for tonight, Recreation Director Charlie Hoffmann said at about noon.

Friday evening officials were holding out hope that the rain would go away and the borough's first concert  would take place on the refurbished, Sandy-battered Fair Haven Dock.

"Well, we've been looking forward to it and everyone loves it and most are pretty anxious to get back on the dock, but, obviously, it stands to reason that we can't have a concert in the rain," Mayor Ben Lucarelli said Friday. "Some forecasts say it may clear up by then, so we'll have to play it by ear. I suggest that people check the notification banner on our website for updates."

The notification saying that the concert is on for 7 p.m. never changed and Hoffmann confirmed that it was all set. Take a look at the above video of one of last year's concerts as a reminder of sunny days ahead.

We've also included a clip of rainy weather by the river.

Here's to hoping that the concert is on and the new dock can be celebrated!
