The Fair Haven Firemen's Fair is not just a fair — it's a tradition.
And the tradition lives on again starting Aug. 23. Only a day away now, it takes many volunteers to put the fair together.
When you roam the fairgrounds year after year, there are always more than a few familiar faces ... and memories of those who have passed having left an indelible impression of community authenticity in one small town.
