It's where the children go with their parents to ride the rides, eat cotton candy, win prizes and exchange information about school during the last summer horrah.
It's where teens go to meet up for traditional end-of-summer fun and catch up on the back-to-school scoops.
And, it's where they say goodbye before they head off to college. It's also where people come together again year after year or after many years.
