Rumson Fair Haven rowers will take a break from their strokes this weekend to make Fair Haven's beach a little fairer.
On Sunday March 25 at 1 p.m., RFH Crew plan to clean up the beach at the foot of DeNormandie Avenue in to get it ready for the summer season, picking up the sea grass and other debris that has collected on the beach over the winter.
“RFH Crew is incredibly fortunate to have the resources of the Navesink River to use for its crew program," said Karyn Frank, RFH crew co-president. "We have also been blessed by the generosity and goodwill of the residents of Fair Haven who have supported our program. This event is a way for RFH Crew to give back to both the Fair Haven community and our local aquatic environment. We are very excited about being able to show our appreciation, and hope it can become an annual event.”
