R-FH Ready to Shine in North-South Classic

Summer football tradition continues Monday

Before they start their college careers some of the top gridiron stars in the state will head to Kean University for the annual New Jersey North-South All-Star Football Classic. 

On the defensive side of the ball, Jack Eisenstadt from and Gavin Riley from Toms River East will see time on the defensive line along with Asbury Park's Ra'Zahn Howard.

With the 7 p.m. kickoff the Shore Conference figures to be well represented according to a story on nj.com. After plowing his way through opposing defenses John Sleczkowski from Manalapan will have the chance to shine on another level against bigger competition on Monday.

Red Bank receiver Tyheem Crawford is also set to represent the Bucs as they launch an air attack they hope will be good enough to beat their northern counterparts. 

The south squad's offensive line has a very strong Shore Conference presence in this year's game. The group includes Toms River North's Grant Duffield, Shore's Gary Dietrich, Manasquan's Sean Place, Lacey's Jake Fernandez and Wall's Matt Ford.

Brick Township's Tom Winters will look to make an impact at the linebacker position along with Jackson Memorial's Dimietrie Christodoylaksi and Colts Neck's Mike Wagner. 

Matawan's Larry Alston, Manchester's Joe Johnson and Neptune's Jaheem Woods will all see time at in the secondary for the south as defensive backs.
