Shane Fallon, head coach of the RHFRHS football team, said, “It was an exciting evening for everyone involved.  It was great to see the older Bulldogs and the younger Bulldogs coming together and the community coming out to support the boys of fall.  We are looking forward to a successful season at all levels.”  This good-natured game drew applause, laughter, and cheers from the crowd and the players too as those lil’ dawgs put up a valiant effort.

This is the second time the RFH Touchdown Club has held this Family BBQ and it was bigger and better than last year.  The funds raised by this non-profit organization go towards the purchasing of training equipment and athletic wear for the team and coaches.

“It was great to see all of the families and kids at the BBQ. Piping Rock is the perfect location for our event. We had great food and great local music,” said Sean Greeley, President of the RFH Touchdown Club. “The original intent of the BBQ and pep rally was to bring together the football community of Rumson and Fair Haven at all levels and we achieved that goal again this year.”

This event provided camaraderie and a Bulldog Rumble of enthusiasm for the athletes and their fans as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Monday, August 22, 2011, the RFH TD Club will hold its Invitational Golf Outing at Deal Country Club.  For more information about the Touchdown Club or the golf outing, contact Sean Greeley at sean.greeley@jpmorgan.com.
