For RFH Football, Three's a Charm

The RFH Varsity Football team competes for the Central Jersey Group II State Championship against the Matawan Huskies Saturday, December 3rd.

This time last year, the (RFH) Bulldogs upset the Matawan Huskies and won their first in the school’s history. Late in September of this year, the Bulldogs once again on their own turf.  Now, the Bulldogs are hoping that three is a charm as they will travel to Rutgers University to meet the Huskies for the third time in a year.   

With a win, the Dawgs will capture a second back to back State Championship title.

The Central Jersey Group II State Championship will take place Saturday, December 3rd at 7pm at Rutgers University’s High Point Solutions Stadium in New Brunswick. This stadium holds more than 50,000 fans on Scarlet Knight game days. 

The RFH Touchdown Club, RFH Football Parents Association, and RFH Pop Warner members are all working together to get community members, friends, and football fans to join them and fill as many of those seats as possible to cheer our Dawgs on to victory.

"If you believe, you will achieve" is the motto they are playin by. This team is ready to give it all they have got and make the community proud.  Fans can show the Dawgs they believe in them by attending the game and bringing all of their Rumson-Fair Haven pride to RU Saturday night. 

Tickets will be sold at the gate:  Adults $9 – Students $3.   Parking will be $10 per car.  Up to the minute information can be obtained at www.facebook.com/RFHBulldogs.
