School was just back in after the holidays on Thursday only to be out again on Friday in Rumson and Fair Haven due to none other than the impending blizzard.
Word of the snow day traveled fast through word of mouth and social media. But, the schools sites say it all.

"Tomorrow is Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 … SCHOOL IS CLOSED! ALL AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ARE CANCELLED!"
Fair Haven schools, K-8 …
"Important Message!
"As a result of the impending snowstorm, Fair Haven Schools will be closed on Friday, January 3rd. All activities scheduled at both schools through Sunday are canceled."
Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School …
"Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School will be closed on Friday, January 3, 2014 due to inclement weather."
