If you are curious about any of the following Monmouth County private schools or career academies, you may want to visit them during their public open houses, mostly in October and November.

You can take a tour and meet administrators, faculty, coaches and students. Private schools not included here are not holding fall open houses. 

Rumson Country Day School

Private school, pre-school — through eighth grade

Informational night for middle school families at the adjacent Mary, Mother of God Church.

The school will be open following the presentation for anyone who wants to visit and meet with coaches.

A public regional high school with sending districts in Little Silver, Red Bank and Shrewsbury.

The district also accepts students on a tuition basis who may be interested in one of three specialized academies of studies: Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, Academy of Information Technology, and Academy of Finance.

Admission is competitive, and attendance at a school's open house with parent or guardian is mandatory for any Monmouth County eighth graders who wish to apply.
