Chickens Moo on the Sickles School Stage When Second Graders Perform Wackadoo Zoo

The second grade class at Fair Haven's Sickles school performed the adorable Wackadoo Zoo on April 14th to a packed house.

The animals were all mixed up at the Sickles School second grade concert on April 14th as the children perfomed Wackadoo Zoo. The concert featured a zoo of animals who make the wrong sounds and the professors who try to fix them.

The students were accompanied by music teacher Ruth Rapkin on piano and gave a great performance.

Cindy Arko is the mother of the second grader who played Cece, a pig who says 'neigh'. Arko was delighted with the performance. "They were adorable and I was amazed at how well rehearsed and synchronised they all were," she said.

The musical was not only entertaining, but also had a moral message about accepting others' differences.

"Academics are important at Sickles school but so is character education," said Principal Marion Carolan.
