Obama Nominates Native Rumsonite Secretary of U.S. Air Force

Deborah Lee was a 1976 Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School graduate.

Rumson native Deborah Lee was nominated as Secretary of the U.S. Air Force, according to the Asbury Park Press. 

Lee, who is a 1976 Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School graduate, was nominated to the post by President Barack Obama Thursday, the Asbury Park Press reported. The U.S. Senate must vote on the nomination.

As president of the technology and engineering sector at defense contractor Science Applications International Corporation in Virginia, Lee is now a resident of Dunn Loring, Va. But Lee still has family in the area, the Asbury Park Press said.
