Gov. Christie: Remember Pearl Harbor Day

Governor releases statement on historic day

Governor Chris Christie issued the following statement today in honor of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day:

Seventy-one years ago, an unprecedented attack on American service members in Oahu, Hawaii altered the course of World War II, forever changing our nation’s future and the lives of Americans for generations to come.

Today, we pause to remember that defining and tragic moment in our history, and to honor and recognize the memory and sacrifice of every soldier, marine, sailor, and airman who died at Pearl Harbor.
