In its workshop session, the governing body plans to talk about:

• Fair Haven Day's concession stand. With Fair Haven Day slated for June 15, officials would like to offer unfunded sports teams use of the concession stand to sell items, such as snacks and certain soft drinks, not offered with the cost of the wristband to be purchased, at a nominal fee, to pay for food.

• Sidewalk dining. With the advent of warmer weather, sidewalk dining permit applications are springing up. Council will discuss the matter, which has been encouraged, but is not popular with some residents.

• No smoking in parks. With no further immediate explanation, council, according to the agenda, has plans to discuss a smoking ban in parks, which is something that has been undertaken by other area towns, including Red Bank.

In executive session, which closed to the public, officials will discuss the following contracts: those of the borough clerk and administrator as well as the PBA's and NJ American Water's.
