Election 2011 Results: Rumson and Fair Haven

Rumson and Fair Haven councils look pretty much the same with one new face.

Polls have closed and another election season is in the books.

In , Republicans have scored a clean sweep, re-electing John E. Ekdahl for mayor as well as Shaun P. Broderick and Benjamin W. Day, Jr. for council. The councilmen reclaimed their seats and defeated their Democratic challenger Philip Wagner who received about 17 percent of the votes.

In , Jerome Koch, Republican, reclaimed his seat on the borough council and newcomer Susan Sorenson, Republican, has filled the open seat left by Councilman James Banahan.
