Christie, Clinton Early Frontrunners for 2016 NH Primary

But with the primary still three years away, most New Hampshire voters are understandably still undecided.

OUTSIDE MANCHESTER, NH -- Hillary Clinton is the heavy favorite among New Hampshire Democrats for the 2016 New Hampshire Primary, while no one in the Republican field has yet to separate from the pack.

Yes, it's still three years before the 2016 Primary, but a WMUR/University of New Hampshire Survey Center poll released Thursday night shows that Clinton is the prohibitive favorite among Granite State Democrats. The poll surveyed 581 New Hampshire residents.

A whopping 63 percent of Democratic voters said they plan to vote for Clinton, compared to 10 percent for Vice President Joe Biden, 5 percent for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and 2 percent for Newark, N.J. Mayor Cory Booker.

Biden made numerous stops in New Hampshire last year, campaigning for President Barack Obama. Booker also campaigned for Obama in New Hampshire.

On the Republican side, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie received the most support, with 14 percent of likely Republican Primary voters saying they would vote for him. Twelve percent said they'd vote for Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 11 percent said they'd vote for Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan, 10 percent picked New Hampshire's own Sen. Kelly Ayotte, 8 percent picked Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, and 8 percent picked former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman.

Others receiving votes included former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (3 percent), former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum (3 percent), Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (3 percent) and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (2 percent).

Both Huntsman and Santorum ran in the 2012 New Hampshire Primary, and many others – including Christie, Walker and Rubio – spent time in the state campaigning for Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Ryan also made several visits to the Granite State in his role as Romney's running mate.

Worth noting is that 82 percent of Democrats and 88 percent of Republicans surveyed said they have yet to make up their minds about who they will support in 2016.

Thanks Chief! Finally at least some basis for intelligent debate! Although the attribution is way lacking - it's a start. (C'mon, an attack on Mr. Christie's size is just juvenile). The reference to one or the other former President Bush is also confusing - there is no mention of either or even a political party in previous emails (nor is there any unfounded Clintonista like praise (see gjc)). My guess is you think President Bush (the latter) is responsible for the recent asteroid that slammed into Russia. Hey, are you a real Native American?

Mary, can we can it with the tired old "Tin Foil Hat" joke. It was worn out years ago.
