2014 Primary Election Results for Rumson, Fair Haven
Both parties had uncontested races for Township Committee.
In Tuesday's elections, candidates ran unopposed for party nominations to run in races in Rumson and Fair Haven.
In Rumson, Republicans Shaun P. Broderick and Benjamin W. Day, Jr. ran uncontested for two seats on the Borough Council. On the Democrat side, Michael Steinhorn ran unopposed.
In the Fair Haven mayor's primary, Republican incumbent Benjamin J. Lucarelli ran unopposed. There were no candidates running on the Democratic Party side.
Candidates also ran unopposed in the race for Monmouth County Freeholder. Republican Incumbents Lillian G. Burry and Gary J. Rich won nominations for two, four-year terms. Democrats Joe Grillo and Larry Luttrell won their party's nominations.
