Vandalism and Stolen Property Dominate Police Reports in June

Over 50 percent of the reported incidents in the Fair Haven Police Department blotter through the month of June were vandalism and stolen property.

According to a police blotter prepared by Detective Jesse Dykstra, Fair Haven was victim to a lot of vandalism and robbery this June.

These types of crimes took up over 50 percent of the blotter for the entire month. Among the 6 other incidents that were reported in the blotter were a DWI, juveniles eluding officers and one report of an arrest due to possession of cocaine.

The blotter reported everything from street signs to park benches to a car mirrors as stolen last month. Places vandalized ranged from personal mailboxes, to the ACME and Fair Haven Fields.
