School Bus Transporting Rumson-Fair Haven Students in Holmdel Accident

No Rumson-Fair Haven students were hurt; driver of Toyota van suffered minor injuries.

A school bus carrying Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School students was in an accident with two vehicles on Main Street in Holmdel Monday afternoon.

The students were being transported to a math competition in Marlboro on an R. Helfrich & Son school bus when the accident occurred. A blue Toyota Corolla and a red pickup truck were also involved in the incident, which took place in front of the Weichert Realtors office at 3:17 p.m., Holmdel police said.

No students were hurt but the driver of one of the vehicles suffered minor injuries, according to police.

Traffic along Main Street was rerouted to Spring Valley Road.
