Rumson, Fair Haven Teens Charged with Trying to Purchase Alcohol

One teen from and another from were arrested by Red Bank police recently and charged with attempting to purchase alcohol underage and hindering apprehension.
According to Red Bank police reports, on May 19, a 17-year-old male juvenile from Rumson and a 16-year-old female juvenile from Fair Haven allegedly entered premises on North Bridge Avenue, Red Bank, where liquor is sold and tried to purchase it.
When the two were caught by police, they allegedly somehow hindered their apprehension. The report did not say how.
