Police: Vodka Thieves, Stolen Rolex and a Keyed Car

Next door in Red Bank, police reported the following incidents of criminal mischief, theft and shoplifting:

• The owner of a North Bridge Avenue restaurant reported an incident of criminal mischief. It was reported that sometime between Sept. 19 and 20, someone attempted to gain entry to the closed restaurant by removing the screen and taking taking the window on the side of the building off-track. No entry was gained. Patrolman James DePonte took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred on Sept. 22 on Wall Street. The driver's side front quarter panels of a parked car were reportedly keyed.  Patrolman Nicholas Maletto took the report.

• The theft of a UPS-delivered pair of expensive sunglasses from the doorstep of a Linden Place home was reported on Sept. 24.  Sgt. Robert Gannon took the report.

• The theft of a submariner Rolex watch, credit and debit cards from a parked car on Spring Street was reported to have occurred sometime between Sept. 24 and 25. Patrolman Ashon Lovick took the report.

• Two females reportedly stole two bottles of vodka from an East Newman Springs Road liquor store on Sept. 25. Patrolman Ashon Lovick took the report.
