Police: Thefts, Burglaries with Nearly $7K Worth of Merchandise Taken

Incidents occurred between Nov. 24 and 27


Police nearby in Shrewsbury are investigating the following incidents of theft from The Grove shopping center and burglaries:

• There was a report of the theft of $1,246 worth of merchandise from the Anthropology store in the Grove on Broad Street on Nov. 26. Patrolman Mary Ellen Jennings is investigating.

• There was a report of the theft of $2,375 worth of merchandise from the Victoria's Secret store in the Grove on Broad Street on Nov. 27. Patrolman Ryan Cullinane is investigating. 

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Thornbrook Drive on Nov. 24. The victim alleged that someone stole jewelry valued at $3,000 from their home. Detective James Ramsey is investigating.

• An unlocked vehicle was reportedly burglarized in the area of Dorchester Way on Nov. 25. Patrolman Mary Ellen Jennings is investigating.
